✨Our memory is our greatest gift and greatest curse as humans. Our memory causes us to suffer over and over again. It also causes us to pay for a 1 mistake over and over again. Just like a criminal who commits 1 crime and goes to jail will forever pay for his actions through his memory. He will judge and feel guilty for his actions. Or if he gets away with the crime, he will pay for his crime over and over again by his friends and family reminding him of his mistake. We are the only species that makes a mistake and pays for it over and over again.✨

✨We have a hard time trusting others or even having a trust in something is because we don’t trust ourselves. We live a contradicting life, we tell people we want to be single and do ourselves but we really want a relationship. We tell people how to save money but we can’t save a penny. There is so many examples of this contradictory I could name. That’s why we don’t trust anyone because we don’t trust ourselves because we lie about everything. Our actions aren’t congruent with our words✨

✨I have been guilty of this myself. A few years ago I wasn’t happy with my career, and my overall life, so to help make me feel better I would criticize everyone else. I never would criticize directly but I would criticize them in my head. It didn’t dawn on me until recently that I was only doing this because I thought that this would help me accept where I’m at in life. The truth was I didn’t like where I was at, and I neglected to take action to change, so to ease my pain I would criticize others. Today I no longer do this because it doesn’t help me get my life together, it only makes me more okay with the shitty situations in life.✨

✨If you do the same thing everyday for a year, you will feel like that year has gone super fast. It’s like you forget the whole year. But when you do different things periodically throughout the year, you will see that the year is going by slowly. Not that you aren’t enjoying it but the fact that you are experiencing new things. When you don’t experience new things periodically, then you will be stuck on autopilot and once that happens, life passes you by fairly quickly. So it’s not that life goes by faster as you age but you just begin to see everything and you become on autopilot.✨

✨We all want freedom but do you realize what freedom requires from you? It requires for you to take responsibility of everything in your life. Even the things that aren’t your fault are your responsibility. That’s the only way to have complete freedom in life.

✨Even the burnt down houses have the potential to be built into something amazing. Even the people who went through traumatic break ups and go through abusive relationships have the potential to be a great spouse. Even a caterpillar has the potential to be a beautiful butterfly. Everything in life has the potential to be something great. It all is determined by you.✨
